12 oz. Microwavable Stoneware Travel Mug white Review

12 oz. Microwavable Stoneware Travel Mug white
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was trying to find a travel cup that I could microwave at work to heat up my coffee. I liked the idea of not heating in plastic and not having to transfer to another cup like with my stainless steel mug. Thought this was the answer....but alas the lid leaks. It does not have a rubber gasket of any kind and does not fit tight (not even close). This means I spill coffee both when I carry (even tipping it over only a little leaves coffee pooled up around the top, which in turns spills all over me when I try to take a drink)and does not hold at all if it should tip over. It does not matter how fast you are it will spill all over everything... almost like there is no lid on at all. My advice try to find one with a gasket or better sealing lid...good luck

Made in the USA - 20 oz. Ceramic Travel Mug - White Review

Made in the USA - 20 oz. Ceramic Travel Mug - White
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I like ceramic coffee cups that can be put in the microwave to reheat a drink and go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. On the other hand, the insulated plastic and metal cups with lids keep the drink warm for over an hour. This cup appeared to be the perfect cup that combined the best of both worlds, except that it doesn't keep the coffee warm for more than half an hour. The lid isn't shown very well in the pictures, but it is a circular plastic piece that rotates to open and close for drinking.
The problem with the lid is that when it is supposed to be closed, the seal is very poor and you can see your drink through the gaps. When the lid is open the drink comes out through a small (about 1/4") hole. I'm not sure why, but the coffee seems to dribble down the side when I drink out of this cup.
When there is coffee in the cup, the sides are too hot to touch for more than a second. It appears that the ceramic used for the cup isn't a very good thermal insulator. The handle is comfortable so this isn't an issue for drinking, but probably contributes to not keeping the coffee warm.
The cup gets two stars because it is (in my opinion) quite attractive and feels comfortable in the hand. It also fits nicely in the cup holder in my car.

Wide Bottom Ceramic Travel Coffee Travel 16 Oz. Review

Wide Bottom Ceramic Travel Coffee Travel 16 Oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is probably my favorite mug. It easily holds about twice as much as a regular coffee cup. It comes with a plastic splash guard that locks into place down inside the rim. The best thing about the mug though is the wide grippy bottom that enables me to set it just about anywhere in my car without worrying that it will tip over. Even hard corners don't seem to phase it. It's also the only cup in my house that can withstand my cat's efforts to tip it over.
The odd shape also has downsides though. It won't fit in any cup holder I've ever come across, but that doesn't matter much since it won't tip over no matter where you set it. If you don't rinse it out immediately, it can be difficult to clean later, due to the shape; if you don't have small hands, you may need a bottle cleaning brush. Also, I imagine if you had more than one of these mugs, they'd be awkward to store since this mug tends to hog the cabinet space. Despite this, it's still a great mug. In fact I'm going to need another since my husband has now adopted it as his favorite too!

John Deere Travel Mug Review

John Deere Travel Mug
Average Reviews:

The mug is a nice thick and sturdy but the lid is garbage. It is not like the picture AT All. Not sure why, I didn't do anything about it as I bought it for my husband for Valentine's day. Guess I should contact the seller as the lid is totally useless. The lid is a thin piece of plastic and doesn't fit the mug very well so I don't know if it is a switch or a piece of junk they put on the top. It is too bad as the mug is pretty nice. If I saw the mug in the store, I wouldn't have purchased it.

In our house, these are used for ice-water, not beer, and were bought to replace plastic mugs purchased from a big-box retailer, which became cracked after a year or so of use. These mugs seem to be better-constructed (thicker material) and, as a bonus, tend to not leave rings of condensation.

These mugs have a generous capacity, don't cool off your hot drinks, unlike stoneware, and have a handle designed to let you lift the weight of a filled mug without trouble. This was actually my second purchase of Emile Henry mugs -- the first four were red. Cannot say enough about the color: it's clear, vivid and, in a word, gorgeous.

Adagio Teas Glass Mug and Infuser Review

Adagio Teas Glass Mug and Infuser
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'll start off by saying that Adagio teas are truly fantastic. But I didn't enjoy this mug. I have a tea kettle in one room and my office desk is in another room, so I carry my teacup from room to room with boiling hot water in it several times a day. This teacup is so thin that the heat is immediately transferred to the handle, and it's far too hot to hold the non-handle part of the mug either. I dropped the lid once and it shattered into tiny pieces. So it doesn't meet my needs - I'll stick with ceramic mugs.
However, the infuser itself is fantastic. It's exactly what I need. The holes are small enough that even dust tea doesn't go through. I use it in another mug and it works perfectly. The stainless steel doesn't hold or transmit flavors, so I'm able to use it for white, green, oolong, and black.

Eco Cup Graphic Edition Travel Mug Review

Eco Cup Graphic Edition Travel Mug
Average Reviews:

It's sooooo cool to be the first one to have such a hip, postmodern coffee mug. People are always surprised and impressed when they realize that not only does this look much better than their paper coffee cups, but it's also better for the environment. Not only that, but the silicone sleeve actually works better than cardboard to keep your hand from being burned.
I've also tried the double-walled versions of this mug, which do have slightly better insulation but at the cost of @ 2 oz. less volume.
Silicone lid fits well and doesn't leak. All things considered, this cup is a winner.

Wilton/Copco 2510-9963 Eco-First-Acadia To Go Mug 16 Oz - Brown (Pack of 4) Review

Wilton/Copco 2510-9963 Eco-First-Acadia To Go Mug 16 Oz - Brown (Pack of 4)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Just bought one of these (not through Amazon) and will be returning it. It leaks quite heavily. The hard plastic lid wobbles when put on, and I made sure it was on as intended. That wobble means there is a gap between the lip and the rim of the cup. When I noticed that I tested it with water and tried to drink from the cup, and promptly leaked water all over me.
The lid should have a silicon or other rubber-type ring around the seat that gets compressed against the rim when the lid is screwed on to seal it and prevent leaks. Maybe it was supposed to have one and for whatever reason the one I bought was missing it, but there seem to be other reports of leaks so either they shipped a batch of defective lids, or it was never there to begin with.
Glad other people are not having leaks. If you are buying these, make sure the lids do not wobble when put on or it will leak.

Smart Planet EC-7 Eco 12-Ounce Double Wall Thermal Coffee Cup Review

Smart Planet EC-7 Eco 12-Ounce Double Wall Thermal Coffee Cup
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Though both products are marketed by the same company, this version is a cheap knockoff of the classy "DCI I Am Not a Paper Cup". Though it initially appears similar, there are easily visible differences. The lid does not have the indentation that makes it more comfortable for your upper lip. On both the Eco Coffee Cups that I received, there are visible defects in the surface. More importantly, this double-walled cup does not have a safety pressure outlet on the bottom, as does "I Am Not a Paper Cup". This would theoretically increase the risk of cracking if you micro-waved contents to a high temperature, as the heated air has no place to expand into. Lid fit is looser than Not a Paper Cup, though I haven't experienced actual leaking. Finally, using a measuring cup, my two cups hold 11 oz., not the advertised 12 oz.
Bottom line: The original item, I Am Not a Paper Cup, is a classy and durable item. It costs a few bucks more. The difference between Eco Cup and the original is clearly an example of "you get what you pay for".

DCI I Am Not a Paper Cup 10-Ounce Porcelain Travel Cup with Lid Review

DCI I Am Not a Paper Cup 10-Ounce Porcelain Travel Cup with Lid
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'll start with the questions I'm asked most often when someone discovers that I am a "I am not a paper cup" owner:
- Q: Does the lid fall off?
A: The only time it has fallen off was when I took a sharp turn and the cup fell out of the cup holder which was already filled with odds and ends.
- Q: Does the lid leak around the edges?
A: No, not at all.
- Q: Does it get too hot when filled with a hot beverage?
A: Nope. Not in the slightest. The double chambered wall does the job just fine.
- Q: Does it get flavors "stuck" in it (e.g. coffee)?
A: No they do not. This is why I've long been seeking a porcelain travel mug.
Now I'll address my personal concerns when I first bought it:
- I was afraid the textured surface of the outside would gradually stain with coffee and grime that would rub off my hand, but this has not yet happened. It did take a small purple spot for a while when it got rubbed up against something, but that eventually disappeared.
- There's no air hole in the lid. This confused me to no end. Before my first use, I was constantly looking for a little hole along the lip or on the top because I was sure I had simply not seen it the last 3 times I had looked. The fact is that the lid is flexible enough to allow you to draw liquid from the cup without problem. This also limits the quantity you can take, but not significantly over the average lid of a paper cup.
- There's a rubber plug on the bottom of the cup. I was tempted to pull it out to see if I could find a prize when I realized that the plug is probably there for a reason. I read the packaging and discovered that this plug keeps liquid from entering the chamber of air between the two layers of porcelain.
I've been on a long quest for a quality ceramic mug and this guy hits the mark wonderfully. I've been recommending them to anyone who takes an interest.

Turn your everyday disposable cup into an eco-friendly, reusable mug. DCI's double-walled, thermal porcelain cup is ideal for commuting, sporting events, and the office. The flexible silicone lid helps keep beverages hot or cold for longer and helps prevent messy spills. The two layers of porcelain, which are separated by a hollow cavity, act as a perfect insulator for hot and cold beverages and ensure that you won't burn your fingers. A silicone stopper in the cup's base prevents water from entering the hollow cavity when washing the mug. This porcelain cup is both microwave- and dishwasher-safe, holds approximately 10 ounces, and measures 3-1/2 by six inches.

Made in the USA - 20 oz. Ceramic Travel Mug - Red Review

Made in the USA - 20 oz. Ceramic Travel Mug - Red
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We loved this mug... it was easy to carry, looked nice, and when my coffee got cold on the way to work I could just microwave it once I got there. Unfortunately, whoever designed the mug made one mistake: the handle is hollow, and we accidentally cracked it while washing the mug. If the handle were solid a hairline crack wouldn't have been a problem at all, you can barely see it. But since any liquid in the mug flows right into the handle the mug no longer can be filled any higher than the bottom of said handle or it'll all leak out.
I'd definitely buy another one to replace the first if the manufacturers would address this problem, because as I said, my boyfriend and I both loved the mug to the point of having to take turns taking it to work. It's really too bad that we can't use it any more unless I find a way to seal the crack.

Eco-Cup, Single-Wall Porcelain Mug Review

Eco-Cup, Single-Wall Porcelain Mug
Average Reviews:

I read about I Am Not a Paper Cup last year, but saw all the reviews that indicated it had problem with leaks. I decided to wait. Nine months later I was at one of those quirky eco/gifty/music stores and I found this Eco Cup and the original IANAPC. The Eco Cup is half the price, so I thought I'd give it a try, and if it leaked or got stinky, at least it was only ten bucks. I've used it almost daily for the last couple of months and have had zero issues with. It's microwave and dishwasher safe. It doesn't smell. It doesn't leak. It's a single-wall version, so the silicone grip is essential. Give it a go--you won't be sorry.

I use this cup at work and it has delighted everyone who sees it. It passes itself off as a paper cup until you touch it, which is pretty fun, as far as "fun" from a coffee cup can go. It's usable, pleasant to the touch, and easy to clean. And hey, it's fun to spot the very same cup in its original paper format on so many of the various cop shows on television. I am probably not supposed to name these shows directly in a review, but I've found myself pointing to the screen. Me: "See. He has my cup. The very same cup!" Them: "Okay, would you shut up about your cup?" Me: "But it's exactly like my cup!" Them: "WE KNOW." I recommend this product.

The blue and white ceramic cup bears the message "We Are Happy To Serve You," and is microwave friendly and dishwasher safe. Certified lead free and up to standard on California's Proposition 65, the cup measures 3-3/4 inches high by 3-1/4 inches wide and holds 10 ounces. It makes a great novelty gift.
