(More customer reviews)When I first got the package from Lucca, I was disappointed at the size as I had expected it to be bigger. When I opened it, I immediately fell in love with it. It is just so cute, the size,the froggy sketch and all. Although it is small, but the size is just right to store my rice and two dishes, one meat and a veg. It's helping me lose weight too because of the portion control! Not to mention the compliments I get from my friends for this cute little bento box.

Whether heading off to work or school, this two-tiered bento box from Kotobuki adds both style and affordable practicality to your life, enabling you to pack a healthy lunch from home in its two containers. Geared toward those both young and young at heart, this oblong-shaped bento box has a smooth green body with a cream-tone top lid that features simple line sketches of a frog and a lily pad. The bento is composed of two compartments that stack on top of each other. The upper compartment seals shut with a fitted plastic lid and it doubles as a lid for the bottom compartment. The bento's illustrated lid then covers the top compartment, and an elastic band secures the two compartments together when traveling.
Traced historically back as far as the fifth century in Japan, bento boxes are carried today by everyone from school children to executives and are the ideal way to pack nutritious, travel-friendly meals. Kotubuki bento boxes are made in Japan of durable food-safe plastic. It measures approximately 5-3/8 by 3-7/8 by 3 inches. The top and bottom compartments are both microwave and dishwasher safe; the inner lid that covers the top compartment is not microwave safe and should be hand washed.
