It's built sturdy to last years, is dishwasher safe, and has a removable stainless steel lid so that you can microwave the teapot (great for reheating or even heating the water initially). You can brew loose tea in it with the included strainer or you can even use a teabag, just take the strainer out.
The design is beautiful-holding it and pouring feels nice, looking at it from the side yields a perfect circle with the lid on. In all, a great functionally elegant design. Highly recommend.
