Fisher & Paykel OB30SDEPX1 Review

(More customer reviews)Okay, it's working now. And it is a great oven. Really it is. I hope I never have to deal with Fisher Paykel customer service again though. Read more to see why I feel that way....
My oven doesn't work properly. They don't know why. They want to just swap parts again and again. They won't tell me their plan of action. What I thought would be a great oven is the worst oven of my life.
I believe my oven is fixed. Turned out it was wired incorrectly when it was manufactured. It took a lot of effort on our part but we finally got a knowledgeable repair person who figured it out. Bless his heart, I am making him cookies. I give Fisher Paykel very low marks on customer service. They have been impossible to communicate with and not very cooperative. It is annoying to spend lots of time on hold hearing about their great customer service and then not get any of that supposed customer service.
I have hopes that it will be a good oven now. I pray I will never have to deal with Fisher Paykel "customer service" again.
I credit the actual repair to the local company service manager. He was great.

Tupperware 13 Piece Servalier Bowl Set Review

(More customer reviews)My mother-in-law has had her Tupperware brand food storage containers for over 35 years. Throughout this time, Tupperware survived 3 kids and a lifetime of use and abuse (I am sure). She STILL uses them every day and I am amazed at how sturdy they are and how the lids still provide an air tight seal. This is WONDER PLASTIC. They just don't make them like this anymore. I don't know about you, but this is all the proof I needed to make the investment. I could not wait to purchase my own and had been looking for a set like this for a while. Since my Tupperware purchase, I have thrown out the old ones from the other so called "reputable" companies, which just don't last. I can finally stop wasting money buying from here and there. Although Tupperware makes microwaveable pieces, this set is not. This set is mostly for food storage in your refrigerator and or freezer. This does not bother me in the least for I prefer to heat my food in microwaveable plates, not plastic. I just feel safer this way. And yes, they are dishwasher safe.

I STILL love my Tupperware! Absolutely no issues almost 2 years later, not even food stains. I couldn't have said this about any other plastic storage brand. I'm sooo happy I made the investment. And my mother-in-law STILL uses her (almost) 40 year old Tupperware. I saw her use her favorite yellow Tupperware bowl this past Xmas (2010) to mix cookie dough. I swear, this stuff is amazing! Like roaches, Tupperware will clearly survive the next Apocalypse!

(More customer reviews)The picture in this offering shows a great product. These little round containers are the perfect size for storing food portions in a convenient size, 1 cup plus a little room for expansion in the freezer. This item is supposed to be 3-pack of these 1.1 cup containers.
The problem with this item is that you get something else. I got a couple of 1.25 cup containers and a 2 cup container! And instead of being round, they are square. If I wanted 2 cup containers I would have ordered 2 cup containers! If I wanted square containers I would have ordered square containers!
I am just so sick of sellers substituting different products for the ones they offer and the ones I order! Without prior notification or permission! It seems to be the thing to do nowadays.

Bosch Evolution 500 Series : HGS5053UC 30 Freestanding Gas Range with 5 Sealed Burners - Stainless Review

(More customer reviews)When we started looking for a replacement for our old gas range, I put in a few hours of research on the Internet and came up with BOSCH. They have a strong reputation for well-built, reliable appliances (and tools), and the customer reviews are for the most part more favorable than for all other brands. There were a few customers who had minor complaints (such as, "the display panel is too sensitive and therefore hard to clean without resetting clock, turning on oven or timer, etc.") but we have not found any of them to apply to our subsequent experience with our new Bosch range.
We were considering a dual-fuel range with gas cooktop and electric convection oven but chose to go with all gas, with a gas convection oven. We LOVE it! At first we thought that the convection fan didn't work, but a quick online check with a helpful Sears technician revealed what the manual failed to point out: for this particular model (BOSCH #HGS5053) wait 6 minutes for the fan to start up when preheating in Convection mode.
The range is extremely well made and it looks great, too! The controls are easy to use, and the convection fan is so quiet you won't know it's running unless you turn on the oven light and look in through the large glass door panel. Baking is even with no "hot spots" in either Bake or Convection mode. The 5-burner cooktop is nicely designed and easy to keep clean. The oven racks are not as heavy-duty as those on my previous gas range, an ancient Frigidaire, but they're adequate for the job, and there are more oven rack positions available in these Bosch ranges. It preheats to the set temperature much more quickly than the old Frigidaire did, and maintains it with fewer and shorter burn cycles. We expect to save money on the gas bill with this range.
I would strongly recommend the Bosch HGS5053 if you're looking to replace your old energy-IN-efficient dinosaur of a gas range!

Dundas Jafine RL6P Plastic Roof Exhaust Cap Review
