(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my husband who isn't the worlds greatest cook, but enjoys new cooking methods. It's best to have some Tagine recipes on hand since the ones that come with the cooker are inadequate. Because it's silicone it is flimsy when full, so take great care when handling after filling and removing from the oven. I placed ours inside a square cake pan. A great gift for the cook who has everything or "knows it all."

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these tagines--total impulse buy, as we were looking for ways to steam food. They have been an integral part of my kitchen ever since. Spray them with cooking spray, add some fish cut into chunks(we have tried tilapia and salmon thus far), thinly sliced vegetables and spices (I have been experimenting with making my own ras el hanout), put it in the oven at 360, and in 20-25 minutes, dinner is ready!
Comes with a small recipe book that suggests microwave use, but we would rather use the oven. Overall, the tagine makes moist, flavorful low-fat, low calorie meals that don't taste low-fat, low calorie!
Definitely one of my better impulse buys!
