(More customer reviews)We had a Sharp Microwave Carousel II but after 25 years it gave up the ghost. This is our replacement, same size but more wattage 1200 vs. 700. The buttons are easy to use and, contrary to another review, the door opens easily. There are several new features that we are anxious to try but even without them we are well pleased with both the workmanship, cost and seller.

(More customer reviews)This is the best Microwave we have ever owned. The last Sharp lasted 10 years but cost twice as much and did not come close to this one.
We tried an experiment with the Sensor setting and cooked a piece of Tilapia in the regular oven and the other filet in the Sharp 530 following the one screen help menu. The Microwave fish was tastier and more moist and cooked in 1/2 the time of the oven.
The sensor works wonders with reheating and defrosting and we find we are using it more than we ever used the older one.
I have recommended it to several co-workers and friends who are in the market for a great microwave at a super price.
