(More customer reviews)...this absolutely does NOT hold a standard, 13 gallon trash can (not a 13 gallon can that *I* can find, anyway). My husband and I could only get an 11 gallon one to fit, which yes, isn't bad, but considering we had previously purchased a 13 gallon can in anticipation of receiving this unit, it's a bit disappointing. Not a huge loss of money either way, just a little frustrating. Takes a while to assemble, but once together, it's very nice and we are happy with it. Just know that you need to get an 11 gallon can to fit this unit, not a 13.
