(More customer reviews)I've cooked a couple dozen strips of turkey bacon (3 at a time) on this and have been happy with the results. They recommend starting at 1 minute nuking for each strip of bacon (3 strips? Nuke 3 minutes) and adjust more or less from there. For Butterball turkey bacon I found 3 minutes to be a little too long -- turkey bacon doesn't have as much fat as pork belly bacon and was too dry. The next time I cooked turkey bacon, I only nuked it for 2:45 minutes and it came out fine. I finished the first package of turkey bacon and opened a new one of a different brand (Godshall's -- it was on sale). The Godshall's apparently has thicker slices because 2:45 was not enough. I had to go to 3:15 to get satisfactory results.
Each different brand of bacon is going to cook slightly differently so tweaking will usually be required. For *ALL* bacon, though, I have to wrap a paper towel over the tray and bacon to keep it from spattering all over the inside of the microwave.
