(More customer reviews)The Maytag MMV5208WS is a fantastic over the range microwave. We've had it for three weeks now, and absolutely love it! We replaced an older countertop microwave that was decent, but took up too much counter space, and frequently tripped the fuse (requiring a trip to the basement). This Maytag was easy to install (replacing a standard range hood). It has not yet, even one time, tripped the electric fuse to our kitchen - so that problem is solved. Plus, it has freed up a tremendous amount of counter space. It's like having a brand new kitchen!
The microwave itself works fantastic. It has setting for just about everything you can imagine. It can sense the food in the microwave to determine the best cooking time and settings. The baked potatoes turn out perfect...as does the popcorn. The turntable doesn't turn at all, but kind of moves around the bottom of the cooking space - novel, but it works, preventing hot spots from burning any particular point of the food. Highly recommended!
