(More customer reviews)I had been renting in an apartment community that went condo last year and had GE white appliances when I was renting that had no problems during my three years residing there. I bought a brand new refurbished condo in my community with new GE appliances and have had problems during the first year with some of the large kitchen appliances including this particular model microwave. After some research on line, I found similar defects reported from other individuals that bought this product. There are plastic brackets inside the handle that have melted off (and I checked all measurements from the stove and they meet specifications)and then you have holes where the brackets were. Unsafe for one and when I had GE come to service it, they offered me another door, which is course the same exact door even though I know other GE models have different doors that fit a particular model. The door is being sent to my house and I will again have to take time off for GE to install and hope that the brackets will not melt once again. I'd recommend putting your money down on a well-reputed appliance other than GE.
