(More customer reviews)I've had a set of Corelle dinnerware in this pattern for over 15 years. My family had some sinc e the 60s. I got mine as a bargain from a store imitating Costco in the mid-90's (such stores have disappeared, unable to compete, I imagine). These have become my favorite "china." They are elegant and lightweight. They work well in microwave and dishwasher. They don't scratch or stain. You need to realize they are made of glass and will break if dropped on a hard surface. They are not cheapo, pseudo-disposable items, as I think some folks must believe based on their notion that you could buy 8 Corelle plates for $4 anywhere. I wrote this review to try to compensate for all the spurious bad reviews by people who didn't read what they were ordering. I really do like these plates and bowls.
