(More customer reviews)As a tamper, it seems to do the work, but the dimensions are not as specified. The actual diameter of the smaller side is 1 15/16, not 1 7/8, so if you are looking for something that size, don't get this (I think the Norpro Tamper & Scoop Espresso Combo Tool Stainless Steel is the only one for less than $20 of with those dimensions at Amazon.com, but I haven't bought the product to testify for it).
The customer service was bad, they did not want to refund the shipping even though it was their mistake, and if I had accepted a refund for the item only I would have had to spend almost the same amount in the return shipping, waisting about $9 and a lot of time (fortunately, Amazon.com's A-Z guarantee solved the problem).
Finally, the product is not the one in the pic, it actually looks more like the Short Aluminum Tamper (15-0349) Category: Coffee Makers and Urns (not necessarily an issue, but it also says something about the company).
